Life is a rough ride, hope you've got suspension.

It's been a little while since I updated this journal so I thought, since insomnia is being unmerciful that I may as well. I just finished college, I attended a course called "New Media Communications" which ventures into the world of... You guessed it, New Media. Ranging from 2D/3D, video, audio editing, website maintenance and design among other things. It was a rough road though I had people to help me through it, also had a bunch of breaks to help relieve the stress. I haven't done any sketching until recently due to all my assignments and work load.

What I thought of the course, I'll start off by saying I learned a lot and that will definitely help later down the road. Since the course is still new there are a lot of bugs in regards of communication between two websites holding two pieces of information and two instructors who were in perfect contrast to the other which made getting assignments done correctly a living hell. Despite this, I would go through it again.

Hopefully everyone who is still watching this account haven't completely given up on me, I have several sketches that are pending post production as in colouring, shading and uploading. Life's got it's ups and downs as well as it's sharp turns and rugged roads. It definitely helps to have suspension. What do I mean by "suspension?" I define it as a way of making the ride a little bit smoother as in remembering to work hard but at the same time, have some time to relieve yourself from stress. Hang out with friends, computing, biking... Whatever helps you get your mind free and refocused.

Feel free to drop me a line, I'm always interested in hearing what other people are up to and always willing to listen. Hey, we all got to vent to somebody.

Raptor out.

What the hell? I didn't see this post until today... I've been missing more and more posts by friends ever since DeviantART changed things around. I'm sorry to be responding so late Patrick.

hehehhe that animation's pretty good :D What program did you use for this? My guess is going to have to be Adobe Flash. ;)

Hehehe... my first "slideshow" ever created. It's nothing super amazing... but still nice, I think.

It's just a videoclip of my "Reptile Anatomy Puzzle"... done with "WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER". Simple and short... yet I like it.

Enjoy!!

Yes, that simple and short video clip is quite good for what you have probably intended it for. Though, I am not a large fan of Movie Maker as for being exposed to what Mac software has to offer ;) Despite this, I am really happy that you didn't use Microsoft PowerPoint.... congratulations on your first "slideshow" through a Movie editing program ;) Do you intend on making more? If so, I'd love to see them. You could also practice in throwing your "provocative" comic into it for further practice... or one of your other comics that you have done. I'd love to see more of your practices and see if I could help out.

Just a simple thing... not a big deal, at all. :P But it was fun.
Maybe more will follow in the future. But I dunno. ;)
Gotta go now, take care!!
